In Austin, the majority of people any typical Nightmover is going to run into will be in the range of 22 to around 32 and for the most part we’re all lonely and looking for someone to take us home at the end of the night. But something keeps us from getting what we want. Call it shyness or whatever but it’s just really hard to make that connection while you’re out and about. Max, you’ve got like 25 minutes to decide whether or not to spend the rest of your night buying some drinks and having conversations with them.
The Nightmoves System is designed so that you can get all of that weird tenuous apprehension about meeting people out of the way. There are 3 barriers to any sort of social engagement: (1) your environment, (2) contact, and (3) people’s standards. The Nightmoves Systems breaks down those barriers via sheer brutal force. Here’s hot to do it in order:
1. Always Keep Moving
If anything, stagnation is the one great barrier to making contact. Really its a numbers game out there and continuing to move around enhances your opportunities. You can even stay at the same bar, just do the rounds.
2. Say “Hi”
It sounds too good to be true, but if you just say “hi” to people, more often than not, that’s enough to break the communication barrier. Women tend to be impressed when you can just say “hi”, so the more comfortable you get at it, the better it will be received.
3. Lower Your Standards
I know it sucks to think about that but keeping those standards realistic is a great way to meet new people. If you’re going for the beauty queen at every bar, chances are she’s tired of getting hit on and has her guard up. Find the cute, mousey girl chilling with her friends and see what’s up. This is also a great way to build up your confidence over a few months and refining your game.
The Nightmoves System isn’t designed to bag Russian supermodels. It’s designed to get you down to Earth about how you engage with people on a nightly basis. There’s no trick or anything to it and maybe it won’t work every time, but it will work a lot of the time. The Fussus dares you to try it and see.
