LISTEN: WARM SODA’S “VIOLENT BLUE”

Could these guys be any cooler? Look at ‘em hanging out at the local Adult Book Store. Seriously though, we found out about Warm Soda a little after the rest of the world had latched onto their rapaciously catchy, 70s guitar glam pop, but thanks to the folks at Rubberneck Magazine, Warm Soda is now in our lives. The song I’ve chosen to feature is called “Violent Blue”. Just love the way his voice goes into ultra-yearning mode in the chorus of this all-American jam. The rest of the album is priceless as well. They remind me a little bit of Nick Lowe in some respects. Other people seem to really like “Jeannie Loves Pop”, but you won’t find that here. These guys are currently in Europe showing those folks over there what AMERICA does best. Get at them.
